Just a thought on post 9-11 airport security. Very thorough at Manch, got asked the usual questions:
- Is this your bag?
- Did you pack it yourself
- Where has it been since you packed it?
- Any electrical items?
- Did anybody else give you anything to pack?
A Contrast at Dayton though.
- Are you carrying any firearms?
" OK Put your bag on the belt sir!"

This time at Dayton it was "Any firearms or films?"...
I think it is very poor that Manchester did not even ask you your weapon of choice. Personally I don't know why they ban knives on flights, after all they let women with deadly 9 inch stiletto's on
